Following are the main functions of this part:
Use the Default Test Execution Results
The default test execution results are designed to cater to a wide range of testing needs. They are pre-configured with commonly used parameters and metrics, making it easy for you to get started with your testing activities. The team can directly apply these results, saving time on setting up the testing environment and framework.
Add New Results
If the default results do not cover all the testing scenarios, we support to add new results:
...
Click [+Results], a popup window should show on the page.
Enter the name of the status and pick a color for the new status which is different from the other active status.
For ‘This Result Consideration’(Say Consideration in the following pages) selection, if you need this new status to correspond to the corresponding result when calculating results, please select the three options we have set. If you do not make a selection here, the case of this status will be calculated as not executed.
Click [Add] button to save the settings you entered
Then you should be able to see a new active status in the list
Modify Existing Results
We also modify the existing ones to suit your team's workflow. The team can change the test case descriptions, adjust the parameters, or update the metrics to reflect the specific testing requirements. This flexibility ensures that the test execution results are tailored to your team's unique needs and preferences.
Edit the Results
After creating, the status of the Result should be ACTIVE by default. When the status of the Results is ACTIVE it means this Result can be used by your team members, but we support to deactivate and delete the ones which are not usable for your team. But please be aware, editing the Results will not have any effect on the cases which already have an execution result and calculation of the results.
