Edit Test Case
In this plugin, we offer editing capabilities for test cases in two distinct ways. The first method involves utilizing the 'edit' button, which allows you to edit one or multiple test cases at a time. However, please note that this approach limits the modifications to only certain parts of the test case.
For a more comprehensive editing experience, you can opt for the second method. To do so, simply click on the 'Key' of the desired test case. This action will navigate you directly into the individual test case, where you can then edit all aspects of that particular case, including all its contents.
Remember to save your changes after editing to ensure that they are reflected in the system.
Following are the 2 ways to Edit Case:
Edit with the [Edit] button
With this function, the user can edit one or more cases at one time. But this function only supports the user to edit some features about the cases.
Select one or more cases that need to be edited.
Click the [Edit] button
A edit popup window shows on the page, 4 features can be edited: ‘Test Folder’, ‘Priority’, ‘Status’, ‘Tags’
After editing, click the [Save] button to save the changes. Click [Cancel], window closes and no changes should be saved.
Edit with click the Case Key
With this function, the user is able to edit all the information about the case. But this function only supports editing one case at the same time.
Click on the [Key] link of the case which needs to be edited.
The page jumps to the ‘Edit case’ page.
Edit the information you need, and please be noticed, the required field should not be blank.
After editing, click the [Save] button to save the changes. Click [Back], the page should go back to the Test Case page.
