Custom fields allow the team to add different types of fields according to project requirements, meeting the specific needs of your project. These fields can be used for test cases and test runs.
Create Custom Fields
When adding new custom fields, select the field type and assign it a name. Keep in mind that once added, a field's type cannot be changed. Currently the plugin supports the following field types:
Text Field (Single-line)
Select List
Date Picker (If add this in the custom field in the system, when add case or run, a date selection shows)
Please Note: Deleting a field permanently removes all associated data, including from closed test runs. To maintain historical information, consider disabling the field instead of deletion.
Steps of Create Custom Fields
The plugin now support add custom field for a fields in the system:

Steps:
Click the [+Custom Field] button on the page. A popup window shows on the page.
Enter the Name and select the Type which is needed. Add the description if needed.
Click the [Add] button, the setting saves. Click the [Cancel] button, nothing saved.
Edit Custom Fields
Add selection for the Select List
For Select List, the user can add the information for the Select List.
Steps:
Click the […] button of the Select List in the Action line
Click the [Add] button, a popup window shows, following items show on the page:
Name: This field is required
Description: Please add some descriptions for this selection if needed.
Click the [Save] button, the selection is added to the Select List.
Click the [Cancel] button, no changes save.
Edit Custom Fields
All kinds of Custom Fields are able to be edited.
Steps:
Click the […] button in the Action line
Click the [Edit] button, a popup window shows, following items show on the page:
Name and Description are able to be added, but to be noticed, the type cannot be changed.
Click the [Save] button, the changes saved.
Click the [Cancel] button, no changes save.
Delete Custom Fields
If the team no longer needs the Custom Field, the system supports delete the field.
Steps:
Click the […] button in the Action line
Click the [Delete] button, a popup window shows says:
‘Really delete field XX? Deleting this field cannot be undone. All data for this field, including in closed runs, will be permanently lost.’
A selection shows: Yes, permanently delete: XX, check the box, the [Delete] button is available, otherwise, the button is unavailable.
Click the [Delete] button, the Customer field is deleted.
Click the [Cancel] button, no changes save.
