Folder Function
This functionality enables users to create custom folders, which serve as dedicated storage spaces for cases. By utilizing this tool, users can maintain a well-structured and easily accessible archive of their cases, improving the overall efficiency of their work. The process of creating a new folder is straightforward, ensuring a seamless experience for users of all levels.
In this part, we have the following functions:
Create Folder:
By default, there is a default folder ‘Uncategorized’ that should show in the list. All the cases without a folder should show in this part. To create new folders, need to follow the steps:
Click [+New Folder] button, a popup window should show on the page
Enter the name of the case in need and click [Create]
The new created folder should show in the Folder list
Click the [Refresh] button by the side of [+New Folder] button if the new folder is not showing, with the clicking, the list should be refreshed.
Edit Folder:
With this function, the users should be able to edit the folders which are created. The default folder ‘Uncategorized’ cannot be edited or deleted. With the following steps, the user should be able to edit the created folder.
Mouseover or click on the folder which need to be edit, a […] button should show for the folder
There should be 2 options [Rename] & [Delete]
Click on [Rename], a popup window should show, the user should be able to edit the name of the folder.
With click [Update], the new name should be saved.
With click [Cancel], the name should not be saved.
Click on [Delete], a popup window should show. Information should show on the page as:
‘Delete Folder?
You are about to delete folder XXX and all its contents.
No worries, your test cases can still be found in the folder named All Test Cases.’
With click Delete, the folder should be deleted from the folder list. The cases in this folder are still able to be found in ‘Uncategorized’.
With click [Cancel], the folder is not deleted.
